Google Maps is an incredibly reliable and convenient navigation tool that makes getting around so much easier. Whether you're driving, walking, biking, or using public transit, it gives you accurate directions and real-time traffic updates. I especially appreciate the estimated arrival times and alternative route suggestions when there's congestion. Google Maps must have on PC.

educational, simple user friendly, and being able to post reviews about services and different things that can only be experienced from being hand on helps determine if it's some to participate in or get services. Powerful platform where people can get a better idea of what to expect. here's an extreme example, a restaurant that the only people that don't know the food is bad are the non locals.

Update: The problem has been fixed. I found out that my WiFi was still set in my previous location, so Maps wasn't able to pick up my current location. Previous Post from 1/5/25: I would normally give 5 stars, but I've noticed a problem that I'm unable to fix. I recently moved, but Maps doesn't pick up my new location. I updated my address, but still, Maps has my location wrong. If the problem can be fixed, my rating will go back up.

I love Google lady telling me my ears where to turn. That way I never get lost while I'm driving. I also like the real time routing sometimes I get smug and think there's a quicker way to get there and she already figured it out and I'm stuck in traffic. because of my own hubris

This is just what I have always wanted. Please don't change it. For years I have struggled with maps; gotten lost looking for drs. Office. When I would find it I would have a panic attack on the return as they were so confusing. I love this one because it is easy and directions to my surprise are correct 💯

Used 4 a few year's all over the US and have never been lost , I can change my route anytime and it always automatically correct's the route to my changes without telling me 2 make a u- turn . I Always can find a place to eat and stay no matter what time it is day or night . I won't wonder without it ... 😎

Despite privacy concerns with Google, I must praise Google Maps. As a frequent traveler, it's invaluable to me. Without it, I wouldn't explore cities as freely or discover as much. The reviews help find hidden gems or avoid certain spots. The app is reliable and works almost everywhere. Personally, I wish there was a feature to map and share my walks with others. Overall, it's a fantastic app—thank you for that.

Just a good app. You can see street view, it helps with driving,walking,bicycling, and more. And if you don't like the 2d version you can do 3d, and if you don't like the style you can change that too, it's almost always accurate. you can even zoom out and see Earth, or zoom in and see the smallest details, and again there's even more. There's also Google Earth which is quite similar to Google maps, and don't worry about your identity when Google maps updates, Google maps always censors faces.

App was great until the latest update on my PC. The search results and the map were split on the left and right of the screen, practically makes both the search and the map unreadable. Now I got to constantly adjust my window to make sense of it. How do I re-install the old version? Update : Appreciate the prompt response from developer! Got my preferred Google Maps back!

I'm finding the map layout hard to use . It goes from left to right instead of bottom to top which allows you to see upcoming roads etc where this new layout doesn't. It's left me scrambling at the last minute and have missed turns and destinations. If there's a setting to change the layout I don't see it . Otherwise the app would be great . Tried the steps suggested and problem solved so I gave it 5 stars

Well, I have always loved Google Maps, brilliant stuff. However since the last update it has been so slow and crashes, both on my laptop and PC. To be fair it had started playing up a bit which is why I updated it, new look now, but it seems worse. Perhaps just too much is going on within the app? :-/ So 5 stars, for being there, but go back to being a reliable friend please.

Google Maps is so easy to use, but it's better than any other apps I've tried in the past! Since I tried Google Maps to take us into the Country, and had no problems getting there! I was surprised to find out that there wasn't any reception the last part of our trip! It still got us right to the door! Yet apps I've paid for would drop out as soon as the reception drops out! Give me Google Maps anytime! Be it in Australia or overseas! Well done Google Maps!

In my opinion Google maps is a good way to explore the places that I've been to. I like to check out places that I would like to visit. And of course I use it for when I travel. Only one complaint I wish they would speed up the way they review the change in street names for that reason UPS doesn't want to deliver here. Thanks Google maps I love the app!

OMG Why? This isn't optimized for PC support. The GPS marker is way off center to the right corner of the screen, while the directions fill the left side. I just put a second monitor for navigation mainly. Also, why isn't there a Center My Position mode, so the maps follow you. The only way to achieve this is during an active route. I love Maps, but these bugs......

Further edit: the way that maps operates on dual monitor definitely has room for improvement. I do like how it's essentially a split screen system, but there are times I need it to operate like it would on a standard sized screen, yet still full screen. The split screen covers the map, and makes it nearly impossible to see the map over the search info. If there were a way to maybe add an option in settings to make that possible that would be wonder!

Updated review at the end. Latest update will not let me collapse settings menu in my PC browser. My computer must be in full screen mode while using for navigation. This update now takes up half of my screen. Cleared cache and it works normally but maps will not be correct going forward. (Update 12-19-22) Latest update fixed my issue. Thank you! Back to 5 stars!

What a great app to have, it's such an easy way to get yòu to were you need to go, without tolls which is a feature that's able to be used when travelling,also google maps will make you aware of any traffic delays on the route your travelling too. Its so much easier to find the exact address your looking for, it'll tell you,the full directions all the way to the destination you've entered on maps before leaving home. It's great as there's no more having to pull over to check.

In my personal opinion maps navigate and explore is very useful especially for those people who need to travel to all sorts of places. I like the fact that you can type in the hours of operation for those businesses that don't have them listed. I sincerely hope that the staff who works at google never discontinues it because it is a great help for the general public.
